What Is a Landlords Gas Safety Certificate?

The Gas Safety Certificate will tell you the gas appliance or gas fitting has been checked to see if it is working safely and meets the correct safety standards.

Gas Safety Certificates are required by Law because unmaintained and poorly serviced gas appliances can emit carbon monoxide which in extreme cases can be lethal and have caused deaths.

Gas Safe Registered Engineers

Landlords Gas Safety Certification can only be carried out by fully registered Gas Safe Engineers (note that Gas Safe has replaced CORGI as the registration body).
