Goodplumbing.co.uk will exercise care and attention during our installation, we will place dust sheets in our working area, but not stairs as they are a tripping hazard, we will vacuum stairs after our installation, if we have trafficked there and endeavour to minimise dirt getting onto your floors and your belongings.
We may have to move items of furniture, lift carpet, lift floorboards and conduct minor building work during the execution of works, we will use our best endeavours to return all in their original state, however do not accept liability for damage to such items, should any occur.
Please be aware that when converting a property to mains pressure and/or a sealed system, (i.e. unvented cylinder, combination boiler or system boiler) some older plumbing may expose leaks which were previously unidentified with the low-pressure system. We will contain and repair any leaks during the installation immediately. Should replacement parts be required as a result of these leaks, additional charges may apply. All charges will be reasonable and the customer will be notified prior to replacement.
Boiler installation customers, you will receive your building regulations part L certificate from the gas safe register within 6 weeks of the installation. You will also receive warranty details and certificate from the boiler manufacturer Customers, who wish to make variations to the scope, should notify us as soon as possible, so that the quotation can be accurately amended, correct materials ordered and engineers informed.
To ensure that the work is carried out on the dates agreed when making your booking, a 50% deposit is required. This can either be paid when making the booking or when the engineers arrive to your property to commence work.
We accept payment, via cheque, electronic transfer (BACS).
Warranties on works and materials used, are validated, once final payment for the work has been cleared.
Any domestic electrical work which is undertaken by Goodplumbing.co.uk, will be executed by a Part P qualified electricians.
Goodplumbing.co.uk ltd is covered by Direct-line insurance for £2,000,000 public liability insurance.
